Access

To ensure a safe stay for everyone, we require guests to complete a quick ID verification check and £200 security deposit hold against a credit card via Safeguest prior to arrival. You will receive a secure link after booking to complete this process. This is in accordance with Airbnb's offline fee policy for software-connected listings

As you arrive, you will find the access code and other necessary details sent to you via email, giving you complete control over your arrival time. We understand that your schedule may change, and we want to make sure that you have the freedom to arrive at your own convenience.

For your comfort and safety there is a ring doorbell facing towards the street plus other CCTV monitors for the driveway/parking area and across the rear garden.

The Mayflower is in a conveniently located residential street with its own FREE PARKING spaces for two cars. Further parking is available on the street but is subject to payment by parking meter.

The city centre is just a 5-minute walk away, and major arterial roads like Millbrook Road make it easy to access the dock areas, the New Forest and the M27. The latter provides access to coastal regions to the East and to the West and the M3 gives access northwards to Winchester, Basingstoke, and London.

The Mayflower is a spectacular maritime-themed period house close to the city of Southampton with its rich maritime history.

You will have exclusive use of this spacious and stylish 5 bedroom house.

The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen and also equipped with a smart TV. with space to sit and relax or chat while enjoying a glass of wine. The adjacent kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob unit, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer and all that is needed in terms of pots and pans, cookware, crockery, cutlery and, of course, a corkscrew.

Rear access leads to a large garden with multiple zones with external seating, a mixture of secluded and shaded spots and practical provisions such as 4 bicycle locking points. The driveway parking area also provides for EV charging of electric cars.

We understand that each group has different needs, which is why we offer flexibility in bed arrangements. Whether you're a business group looking to maximise single beds or a family group looking for king size beds. With a few days notice we can provide fully for your needs. All bedrooms are equipped with a smart TV, and hairdryers to offer maximum flexibility. Quiet tower fans are also available.

Bedroom 5 has a good quality day bed with firm base which can pull out to accommodate two

All bedrooms are equipped with smart TV’s, clothes hanging space, hairdryer, long mirror, bedside tables and lamps

A full bathroom, en-suite to the bedroom 1, a separate shower room and a separate WC will ensure ample bathing facilities to avoid queues!
